Anmily is a Dominican Christian singer and songwriter who works in two languages and releases everything herself. She sings rather than raps, and the records move through trap, afrobeat and bachata without settling on one.

Independent from the start

She has been described since 2022 as a bilingual, independent songwriter, and the credits bear it out: the releases carry her own name as the rights holder rather than a label’s, distributed rather than signed. Para Mi came that year, then Contigo, Mi Oración and No Existe, which she made with Laila Olivera. La Bachata she cut with DUViMEL, and she appears on the collaborative EP Mosaico alongside CSHALOM and Zoprano.

Duarte con París

In 2026 she built a run of songs around a Santo Domingo street corner. Duarte con París is one of the busiest intersections in the capital, a place people name rather than describe, and she shot the series there: Lola in June, then Mia Mala, then Daily, each released as a visualizer rather than a full video.

Naming the project after a corner rather than a feeling is the argument the songs are making — that this music belongs to a specific city and not to a genre convention.
