JUDÁ is a Dominican Christian worship group led by brothers Daniel and Diego Hernández Gracia. Their repertoire combines original songs, congregational singing and live recordings. Among their widely circulated recordings are «Desciende» and «El Rugir del León».

A family ministry

The group grew out of the music ministry of their parents: Juan Hernández, a violinist and pastor, and María Gracia, a singer and pastor at the «Congregación Cristiana León de Judá». Their parents founded the band, and the brothers continued it. Daniel and Diego were raised in worship music and were active as JUDÁ by about 2017. Daniel's songwriting became central to their recorded repertoire.

Live recordings and collaborations

In 2022 JUDÁ released «Desciende» with Brazilian singer André Aquino. It was recorded in Miami. The group also issued «El Rugir del León» that year, with words and music credited to Daniel Hernández. The 2023 releases included «Amor y Gracia», «Nada Me Moverá» with Grupo Grace and «Hay Libertad» with «Miel San Marcos». «Resurrección (Live)» appeared as a single in 2023; the group also used the title for a video series announcing a forthcoming album.

JUDÁ followed with «Santo Es El Cordero» and «Yeshua (En Vivo)» in 2025. Its videos credit producer Dereck Cruz and a changing group of session musicians alongside the brothers.

Stages

By 2022, JUDÁ had performed in the United States, Venezuela, Mexico and Ecuador, according to El Día. It was billed among the Dominican acts at «Salmos Fest» in Santo Domingo Este in May 2024. Throughout these appearances, the Hernández Gracia brothers remained the group's singers.

Legacy

JUDÁ has carried a family worship project from its church setting to recordings and international stages. «Desciende», «El Rugir del León» and «Nada Me Moverá» mark its best documented period of wider circulation.
