Karen Santana is a Dominican worship singer, born on 7 May 2004 in La Romana. She was named Adoradora Revelación del Año in the Dominican Republic in 2024.

From ten to thirteen

She began singing at ten in her local church, Oasis de su Presencia, and grew into the role there. The competition circuit came next: she won seven singing festivals across various churches and stages, and at Avero, one of La Romana’s largest, she placed second out of fifteen. The prize was a media tour in Bogotá.

At thirteen she decided to give herself to worship full time. That is the detail worth holding onto — not the awards but the age, and the fact that the decision was made and then kept.

Recording live

Her records are made in the worship format: the moment of worship captured as it happens, with the instruments, the choir and the whole company playing live rather than assembled afterwards in a studio. It is why her videos run past ten and thirteen minutes.

Él Está Ahí is the one that carried furthest, recorded at Promesa Live 2024 in Santo Domingo and built on Isaiah 41:10 — do not fear, for I am with you. Ven Quédate followed, and Que No Haya Interrupción came in 2026.

The circuit

She works an average of a hundred invitations a year, which is a touring schedule rather than a ministry sideline. She opened Adoramos Juntos en Navidad in Herrera, has sung at Una Noche para Dios and before crowds in Constanza, and shares bills with the same generation of Dominican worship singers — Raisa Díaz among them.
