NJ Melody is a Dominican Christian urban artist. Almost everything recorded under the name is a guest appearance on somebody else’s record.

The featured voice

The catalogue runs from 2020 to 2024 and holds thirteen tracks. Twelve of them credit him as a featured artist. Como Loco, from 2022, is the only one that is his alone.

The distribution reflects how the scene works. In the Dominican Christian urban scene records are made collectively — five or six names on a single, each bringing their own audience — and a singer who is good on a hook gets called constantly without ever needing a catalogue of his own.

The circle

He works inside one identifiable group of artists. Adoración Rap, J Moly and Logan Aquino appear on most of the records; Luis Keyboard, Kenn Music, Teologo, 7ma Dimensión, Rumy Rey, Kendall Hill, Briambless and Jhanles TryAgain fill out the rest.
