Yailin La Más Viral is a Dominican dembow artist, born Jorgina Guillermo Díaz in Santo Domingo Este on 4 July 2002. She began as a dancer, signed her first deal in 2019, and is now on Roc Nation.

Dancing first

The order matters. She came into the music from the floor rather than from a studio, and it shows in what she makes: records built for a body to move to, with the hook placed where a dancer would want it.

Akino Mundial Music signed her in 2019. The first release came in August 2020 — a remix of Quién Me Atraca a Mí with Haraca Kiko — and in December she was on Yo No Me Voy a Acostar with Tokischa and La Perversa. That is the company she started in: the women who had just made Dominican dembow a place where a woman could stand at the front.

Nataly followed, with Ceky Viciny, MelyMel, La Perversa and Shadow Blow, and it reached number fourteen in the Dominican Republic.

Chivirika

In 2021, Chivirika with El Villano RD went off on TikTok and gave her the name she has carried since. La Más Viral is not modesty; it is an accurate description of the mechanism that made her, and she took it as a title rather than waiting for anyone to grant her one.

Her audience took a name too. They call themselves Team Chivirikas, after that song.

Out of the country

By April 2022 she was touring the United States. Si Tú Me Busca, made with the Puerto Rican Anuel AA and produced by Súbelo Neo, reached number twelve on the American Latin chart and ninety-seven in Spain; La Máquina reached twenty-three and seventy-nine; Del Kilo went to twenty at home; Soy Mama came as a remix with La Insuperable and the Colombian Farina.

Solo Tú y Yo with Shadow Blow reached fifteen in the Dominican Republic and took her to a Premio Soberano nomination. Pa Ti and Shaka Laka, both made with the American 6ix9ine, put her on the English-language market, which the Dominican press noted as the point at which a dembowsera stopped being a local proposition.

Resiliencia

Her own record arrived on 3 April 2024 on Iris Live Music, after the singles Nota and Me Encantas. DM, 69, Sola, Amigos.

That summer she released Mal de Amor, her first merengue — a Dominican artist of her generation reaching back for the country’s own rhythm rather than outward for somebody else’s, which is a choice more of them are making. Te La Parto Remix with La Más Doll, Ni Un Ki Ki with Jey One, Perdí Mi Tiempo, Step Up with the New York rapper Lil Tjay and Dale 2 with Kreizy K, sixteen at home, came in the same stretch.

Bing Bong

The run with Puyalo Pantera is the strongest work of her career. Chapa came first, then Bing Bong, then Silla. Bing Bong reached number eight in the Dominican Republic and twenty-eight on the American Latin chart, and it did what almost no Dominican dembow record manages: it was heard by people who do not otherwise listen to dembow.

It is built on two syllables that mean nothing at all. That is the craft of the genre stated at its plainest — a sound that lodges before the listener has decided anything about it.

What she has won

Premios Juventud nominated her in 2023 and Premios Soberano in 2024. In 2025 she took Urbano Dominicano and Fandom del Año at the Premios Heat, and Artista Dembow and Canción Dembow at the Premios Tu Música Urbano, the second of those for Bing Bong. Bing Bong was nominated again at the Premio Lo Nuestro of 2026.

In 2026 she spent a week inside Planeta Alofoke, the Dominican web reality programme, and recorded three songs from the set — which is a fair image of how she works. The camera and the record are the same job.
