En El Cielo Worship is a Dominican Christian worship ministry and band from Santiago de los Caballeros, led by singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer Moisés Echavarría. The group records for «Camila Studio» with production by «Infinity Network Media». Its leader describes its approach as music that comes from heaven: songs written for congregational worship.
Origins
The members grew up in church and, as Echavarría has recounted, found each other through social media before becoming a band. By 2022 the ministry was already recording — a live acoustic session dates from that year — and releasing singles such as «Acércame», with Geraldo Torres. The lineup announced for its September 2026 Colombia tour was Moisés Echavarría (voice and guitar), Edwin Tejeda (piano), Sabdiel Rosario (guitar), Emanuel Cabrera (bass) and Luis Miguel Merejo (drums); Echavarría is the group's principal songwriter, with Amos Ferreras and Luis Moreno among its co-writing circle.
Among its early recordings was the 2021 version «Amor Sin Condicion (Cover)» with Rut Casfer.
«Estruendo»
On 25 February 2024 the band held its first worship concert, «Estruendo», at the Centro de Recreo 16 de Agosto in Santiago de los Caballeros, before more than 300 young people from different churches, with Samaly Quiñones and Cales Louima as guest artists; the night was recorded live. The 2024 recording also credits Michael Stiven Holo on bass and Víctor Javier Tejada on percussion. «Estruendo» became the ministry's signature event, staged again in 2025 as a full live recording on 31 July at the Iglesia Tabernáculo de Adoración in Santo Domingo Este, with Luis Moreno and Panama's Emanuel Deliser among the guests.
Music
Working steadily in single releases, En El Cielo Worship has built a catalog of collaborations across the Dominican and international worship scene: «Resucítame» with World Worship, «Cuánto Te Amo» with Kairo Worship, «Estruendo» with Samaly Quiñones, «Mi Necesidad Eres Tú» with Cales Louima, «El Nazareno» with Luis Moreno, «Tenerte» with Emanuel Deliser and «No Estoy Solo» with Ivan Pichardo, alongside songs such as «Solo Un Toque», «Me Miraste», «Zaqueo» and «Hazme Como Tú». The group performed at the «Que el Mundo Adore» gathering in 2022 and returned as special guests in 2023, appeared on television programs including «Arte y Medio», and in September 2026 announced its first international tour, scheduled for Cartagena, Mosquera and Bogotá, Colombia.
Legacy
From its early recordings to the «Estruendo» gatherings, En El Cielo Worship has developed a musical identity centered on congregational worship. Its repertoire brings together Moisés Echavarría's compositions, musicians from different periods and guest voices from the Dominican and international Christian music scene.
