Lorenzo Zayas-Bazán is a Dominican keyboardist and a founding member of the rock band Toque Profundo. In 1989, hearing about that year's Rock Olympiad, he called on the drummer Máximo Gómez to help put a band together; Gómez brought in his cousin, the guitarist Leo Susana, and the four went on to win the contest within two weeks of forming.
