Biography
Naomi Almonte, born October 4, 2000 in Santo Domingo, is a Dominican worship singer. She records for Altar Music, and she says the calling reached her at eight.
Altar Music
Her work sits inside a small circle rather than a solo career. Arquitecto, the 2025 EP, came out under the executive direction of Altar Music with One Music and Camila Studio; the song began as a reflection that David Lewis Reyes, who runs Altar Music, shared with Rafael Tejada Jr., another of the label’s leaders, and Tejada arranged it. The Dominican press called it a Christian ballad, which is the register most of her catalogue sits in.
The recordings
Three singles came in 2023 — Cuánto Más Te Busco, Agradezco a Dios, and Quien Te Ve Adorando, a reading of the Portuguese song A Promessa. Arquitecto and Tú Presencia Vale Más followed in 2025, the second released as a worship movement she intended to carry beyond the country. Vas a Florecer arrived on February 20, 2026 through Altar Music, with an acoustic session issued alongside it.
She also guests on Sanarás with Felixis Falcón and on Santo Espíritu with BlessingMusic, both from 2025.
Rompan el Techo
She is part of the story behind the best-known Dominican worship song of recent years. After a writing camp, Génesis Colón received news that shook her and withdrew to a room. Almonte went in first, the rest of the team followed, and David Lewis began to pray — in Colón’s own telling, they started breaking the roof for her. The song took its second meaning from that room, and Almonte was in it.
