Biography

Sara Batista is a Dominican worship singer and songwriter from Haina. She has been singing since early childhood, writes her own material, and records for the label JJK Investment. Her catalogue is short and recent, and she has said plainly that the music comes out of her relationship with God rather than out of a career plan.

Tabernáculo de Adoración

She sings out of the Tabernáculo de Adoración in Santo Domingo, where Marcos Yaroide is her pastor. The connection is not incidental: she has said the song Yo Lo Creo came to her during a service, while he was preaching on faith. That congregation has produced or hosted a good part of the Dominican worship catalogue, and her entry is another line in the same ledger.

Recordings

Mírame came in 2025 and remains her most heard. De Madrugada exists in two readings, one of them a stripped Living Room version. Yo Lo Creo was recorded live on October 2, 2025 at the Tabernáculo de Adoración and released soon after; she is credited as its composer, and she has described the session as the point at which she felt the song was meant to go further than the room.

Yeshua followed in 2026, cut with the singer Jordan Mateo and the apostle Israel Jiménez. It is the record that took her onto national media, and she carried it through a run of television and radio: Arte y Medio on Telesistema, La Fórmula Radio on Top Latina, Cooltura Radio on Ritmo 96.5, Novedades on El Nuevo Diario TV, Famosos Inside on CDN and En Complicidad on Canal 24.
