Brayan Booz — Bryan Misael García Brito, born April 15, 1997 in San Francisco de Macorís — is a Dominican Christian urban artist and record producer. He works on both sides of the glass, and the production is where his weight in the scene actually sits.

His father’s records

He grew up in a Christian household, and the music reached him through his father, who around 2005 played him urban records — Redimi2’s among them. He has put it simply: he found his talent through his father. He recorded his first song at fourteen and was producing his own material a year later.

Rompiendo

The arc closes on itself. Rompiendo, the album by Redimi2 — the artist whose tapes his father had played him — was nominated for Spanish Language Album of the Year at the 54th GMA Dove Awards in 2023, and Booz is one of the producers credited on it, alongside Niko Eme, Barajas, Kanelo Pro, Music Mind, Nath, Cardec Drums and Chucky. He arranged and produced two of its strongest tracks.

That is the highest reach any Dominican Christian producer has had in the American gospel awards, and it happened eighteen years after he first heard the artist he ended up producing.

Producing across the line

He has produced for Natan El Profeta, Marcos Yaroide, Alex Zurdo and Funky inside the Christian scene, and for Mozart La Para outside it — one of the biggest names in secular Dominican urban music. He has also been nominated several times at Premios El Galardón Internacional.

Amor Real, Perdóname and Pensé En Amor are his own. En Las Nubes was cut with Natan El Profeta and Lizzy Parra; Socorro again with Natan El Profeta; and Tu Fe with Jay Peter.
