Ronny Cruz is a music producer, arranger, and pianist and keyboardist who works mainly in merengue, bachata, and tropical music. He is often credited together with the producer Alex Mansilla and has produced or played on albums and songs by artists including Covi Quintana, Gabriel Pagán, Techy Fatule, and Zeo Muñoz.

Production and keyboards

Cruz is credited with the music production of «Seré», Zeo Muñoz's 2024 version of the 1985 song with Fernando Villalona, whose video was filmed in Loma de Cabrera; Muñoz says the recording came about thanks to him. He shares production and arrangement credits with Alex Mansilla and Junior Cabrera on productions linked to Junior Cabrera's «10 Preguntas», and he played keyboards in the 2026 concert celebrating Luis Segura's 60-year career.

By his own account he produced and arranged the full album «Oye Eta Vaina» by Covi Quintana, played piano, keyboards, and programming on all of Gabriel Pagán's album «No Era El Plan», and shared production and arrangement of «Que Me Quedes Tú» with Alex Mansilla on Techy Fatule's album «Chula». In April 2025 he said he had received a Latin Grammy as producer, composer, and pianist on a winning album.

Recognition

In September 2026 Cruz announced on Instagram that he had been nominated once again at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards for his work on three projects: Covi Quintana's «Oye Eta Vaina», Gabriel Pagán's «No Era El Plan», and Techy Fatule's «Chula».

Legacy

Cruz's credits place him among the working producers and keyboardists of current Dominican merengue and bachata, usually in partnership with Alex Mansilla.
