Carolina Ponciano is a Dominican Christian singer and worship leader associated with the Tabernáculo de Adoración church. Her career spans congregational singing and recordings with Yamilka, Grupo Hope, and her sister Karen Ponciano.

Childhood and formation

She spent her early childhood in Hato Mayor. At six she moved to Santo Domingo to live with her older brother, pastor Santiago Ponciano, and his family. In a 2024 interview she recalled singing in the church choir before leading worship. Junior Ponciano, Santiago's son, is her nephew.

Recordings and performances

She joined Yamilka on «Nadie Me Ama Más Que Tú» from the live album «Incomparable», issued in different editions in 2015 and 2016. She performed at the Aviva Joven youth congress in 2018. Her voice appears alongside Misael J on «Rodeado» (2022), a Junior Ponciano song recorded by Grupo Hope. In 2026 she and Karen Ponciano performed on «Te Mostraré Mi Gloria», credited to Hope W Music; the release credits Karen and Junior among its writers.

Legacy

Her work connects choir singing and worship leadership with documented recordings across more than a decade. Her contributions with Yamilka and Grupo Hope place her within successive generations of Dominican Christian music.
